At an 11 a.m. presentation tomorrow Thursday, June 10 at LOVE Park, the Museum without Walls, a groundbreaking new multi-platform audio program from the Fairmount Park Art Association, will be unveiled.
35 sculptures along the Ben Franklin Parkway and Kelly Drive will allow anyone, anywhere, learn a little more about Philadelphia’s outdoor art.
One of the greatest things about Philadelphia is its abundance of public art— manifesting itself in a number of ways, the most obvious being community-painted murals and outdoor sculptures.
The Fairmount Park Art Association will launch its Museum Without Walls audio tour, a storytelling series for prominent public art.
A unique monument will be built in Philadelphia in the summer of 2010.
The Fairmount Park Art Association receives a generous grant from PNC’s Arts Alive program, the PNC Foundation’s three-year cultural funding effort now in its second year.
