Installed in 1997, The Beasley Building Mural was commissioned by Jim Beasley, Sr. of The Beasley Firm, who selected muralist Michael Webb to create the artwork. Covering the back of the five story building, the mural depicts foundry workers casting sculpture in Philadelphia. The public artworks featured in the mural include the head and feet of Calder’s William Penn, the female figure and child of Lopez and Konti’s William McKinley, Rogers’ Major General John Fulton Reynolds sculpture, among others. The artist also included Jim Beasley, Sr., his children, grandchildren, and family dogs, as well as a few employees of The Beasley Firm in the artwork.
